Andhra University College of Engineering at Visakhapatnam, India is an autonomous college of Andhra University. Andhra University was established in 1926. Located on the uplands of Visakhapatnam, the campus has the Bay of Bengal on one side and the Kailasagiri hill range on the other. Sir Dr.C.R.Reddy was the founder Vice-Chancellor of the university.
Andhra University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Visakhapatnam, is the campus college of University. At the time of inception in 1955 it was a Department of Engineering with Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering as the main branches.

Andhra University Result 2011

Andhra University is not just one of the oldest educational institutions in the country, but is also the first to be conceived as a residential and teaching-cum-affiliating University, mainly devoted to post-graduate teaching and research.

The people of the State have an emotional attachment to the institution, since it came into being after a prolonged and collective struggle of the Telugu elite for a University in the educationally backward northern Circars and Ceded districts of the erstwhile Madras Presidency.Andhra University was constituted by the Madras Act of 1926. The 82-year-old institution is fortunate to have Sir C.R. Reddy as its founder Vice-Chancellor, as the steps taken by this visionary proved to be fruitful in the long run.

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2011, which was scheduled to commence at 9:30 am Today, has been delayed by two-and-a-half hours due to paper leak news.

The exam, which is held in two parts, is now expected to start at 12:00 noon. The second paper, which was scheduled for the noon session from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, will now be held from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

The exam was delayed after a leaked question paper was recovered by the Uttar Pradesh STF from Kanpur (src Zeenews).

About 12 lakh students across the country will be writing the prestigious exam at over 1,600 centres in more than 80 cities today.

Student left in mess due to this the news came after they take thier seat in the exam hall there were news of some minor public misbehavior too the staff
