Traditional Mysore Dussehra Festival, Pattada Gombe in Kannada means, the royal dolls and Alankara means decoration. Many households have a custom of arranging dolls during Dasara festival in Mysore. This is also known as Kolu in Iyengar households. Various dolls are arranged and the main dolls are the King and the Queen. The King and Queen dolls are made of Chandana / Rosewood. These dolls are gifted to the girl on her wedding day by her parents. You can also buy the dolls in shops in Karnataka. Every year, few days before Dasara, the Pattada Gombe / King and Queen dolls are decorated using different materials. Credit for decorating the dolls in the pictures goes to my mom.

Parichay 5th October 2011 Written Episode

Episode starts with Kunal listening to Richa's voice mail and leaves from there angrily. Gaurav tries to stop but he does not listen. Kunal goes to Richa's house n finds out Thakrals are at farmhouse.

At farmhouse, Thakral gets angry at Richa for not being ready for marriage. He tells her she has to get married to Satish. Richa says she will only marry only Kunal. Thakral taunts Kunal has not reacted to any of her calls or messages. Thakral reminds her that Kunal has ditched her before for his principles n again he will do it again. He asks her get ready as all the rich people r invited for marriage. He warns her to make it fast.

In auto, Kunal remembers all the scenes after Anand's marriage n his parents reaction.

At Farmhouse, few ladies bring Richa all dressed up for marriage. She is made sit beside Satish. Thakral gets all happy. He alerts security to check all is well. His employee informs Kunal has come n making fuss. Thakral asks his employee to make sure Richa does not know about it n goes out. Kunal is having fight with security. Thakral gets angry n verbal. He says he will call police but Kunal's parents will not be happy for Kunal visiting jail when they had lost their one son recently. Kunal says Anand died becoz of Richa. he didnt come to stop marriage but to talk to Richa. Kunal asks to call Richa (come on…Kunal is getting on my nerves now…he went to talk to Sidhi on her engagement with Aneesh…he went to talk to Richa on her enaggement..now he is here again…) Richa overhears his shouting. She enquires but is told its band baja (now why didnt they use band baja..) Thakral warns him of police. Kunal warns security if they touch him again he will not leav [...]
